April 2011

Books for babies collection to support Clackamas County Healthy Start.  Healthy Start is a child abuse prevention program that works with first time “at-risk” parents who have children between the ages of 0 -3.  They work hard to help parents to build healthy parent/child relationships and to know that they are their child’s first teacher.  Early literacy is an important part of their work and WCC members collectively donated over 100 books to support early reading.
