Learn About Base Camp Jesus
INFANTS THROUGH KINDERGARTEN
Babies and toddlers are cared for in a warm, loving and safe environment. They learn about Jesus in small group settings that encourage participation and interaction through songs, Bible stories, playtime, snacks, crafts and prayer. Once your child reaches preschool, we will introduce the large group kids’ worship. This is when we sing praise songs and learn sign language to the songs together, answer Bible questions and have a lot of fun while learning about God. Your children will love coming to Base Camp Jesus at Willamette Christian Church, and we will love having them here.
GRADES 1 THROUGH 5
Your children begin their time at Base Camp Jesus with their friends in their classrooms. After a short time, they will enter our high-powered, large group kids’ worship. Here we will sing loudly together, and listen to the introduction of the weekly Bible lesson from our Children’s Pastor and some of our energy-filled worship leaders. This is a fun, interactive time for kids to worship, and for us to teach about the love of Jesus. After kids’ worship, we go back to our classrooms with our friends where we play games, do a craft, enjoy a Bible-story related snack and experience our weekly lesson. Your kids will want to come back to Base Camp Jesus week after week, and are welcome to bring some of their friends.
